La Baule Escoublac is a commune within the Loire Atlantique, in western France.
During World War II, La Baule formed part of the protective stretch of the coast leading to the nearby harbouring city of Saint Nazaire, home to one of the biggest U Boat Stations the Germans ever built.
Now the resort is an exclusive seaside destination, taking full pride in its 12 km beach.
With the longest beach in Europe and an abundance of fairytale like buildings and streets, spending 2 weeks here was a dream. With everywhere being so picturesque, it was hard to take a bad photograph. Thus I used this opportunity to delve into many different types of photography ; macro, food, landscape and portrait.
(p.s shoutout to dannygem for never letting me forget to naturally capture, and always inspiring me)
